Campus Life
Upon graduation RCS students will understand the truth that as Christians their body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. With this fact as a foundation, graduates will demonstrate attitudes and practices that allow for the growth of strong, healthy bodies and minds. This is consistent with our Lord's command, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and will all your mind and your neighbor as yourself." Luke 10:27
Graduates will demonstrate:
- knowledge of personal wellness concepts such as nutrition, exercise, lifestyle choices, and stress reduction with the ability to apply those concepts in their life.
- good fitness principles and habits that will allow for healthy fitness levels.
- a wide range of sports skills enabling them to engage in a lifetime of athletic activity.
- concepts of biblical competition leading them to compete against themselves while remembering to treat teammates and competitors as fellow image-bearers of God.
- an understanding that their physical gifts are granted by God and should be used for His glory and the edification of others.
