DRESS CODE |
| Our goal is for students to have the freedom to express individuality while doing so in an appropriate and professional manner. Appropriate is defined as “set apart for a specific reason.” Professional is defined as “skilled practitioner, an expert.” |
GIRLS: |
Tops: Girls may select any color traditional polo (collared) style shirt, t-shirt, or any button-up shirt. All shirts must have the Redeemer Christian School logo on them. The shirts may be short sleeve, long sleeve, or sleeveless (no spaghetti straps). Girls may also wear the Booster Club Lion Wear that is available in the school office. Girls are required to tuck their shirts in and a belt should be worn if belt loops are provided. Our desire is for students to look professional during their school day.
Bottom Clothing: Girls will be required to wear navy or khaki (any shade of khaki) skirt, skort, shorts, capris, or pants. No athletic (nylon or jersey knit) shorts or pants are allowed. Girls must use the following protocol when selecting. Shorts, skirts and skorts should be no more than two inches above the knee.

BOYS: |

The shirts may be short or long sleeved. Boys may also wear the Booster Club Lion Wear that is available in the school office. Boys are required to tuck their shirts in and a belt should be worn if belt loops are provided. Our desire is for students to look professional during their school day.
Bottom Clothing: Boys will be required to wear navy or khaki (any shade of khaki) bottoms. No athletic shorts or pants are allowed. Bottom clothing should fit appropriately and not appear “slouchy”. No undergarments should be visible at any time.

WINTER CLOTHING |
Students may select from a sweatshirt, cardigan, fleece jacket, or turtleneck that must have the Redeemer Christian School logo on it. Booster Club Lion Wear has hooded sweatshirts available, which are allowed in Middle School. Students are not permitted to wear other personal jackets to school. Heavy winter jackets are an exception to the logo rule, however, they should only be worn outside. None of the above items should have hoods attached with the exception of Lion Wear.

ACCESSORIES |
BELTS: All students may select any color belt that fits appropriately.
SOCKS: Students may select any style sock, again, that is appropriate and professional.
SHOES: Girls may select dressy sandals, as well as closed toe shoes. Sandals may or may not have the back strap. They may not wear “flip flops”. Shoes must be appropriate and professional. Boys may select any style closed toe shoe that is appropriate and professional.

FRIDAYS ONLY |
Students may substitute bottom clothing with jeans or denim clothing that follow the protocol listed above.

P.E. DRESS CODE |
Students will be required to dress out for P.E. in the RCS P.E. uniform. Students must also have athletic shoes for P.E.
