Playground Update |
| Well it seems playground construction is just like any other type of construction. Things come up and can derail the very best of intentions. On Saturday we had an incredible turn out of Dads anxious to get the new playground constructed for the kids. Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn't send the proper hardware (screws) for the project. The playground company is sending their installers on Wednesday to complete the task. While we know the Dads were disappointed not to be able to get it done much was still accomplished! Thank you so much Dads. |
Name the Playground Contest Continues |
Our Name the Playgroung Contest officially kicked-off on Tuesday, September 16th. Join PTF in celebrating the grand opening of Redeemer’s new elementary school playground by helping us name it. PTF is looking for each elementary class (Kindergarten through 5th grade) to submit one name and parents are allowed to help! The deadline is Thursday, September 25th. The top 3 names will be announced Monday, September 29th at flag. The K5 thru 5th grades will vote by ballot (this is an election year afterall) for their favortie name. The winning classroom will be awarded the honors of being the first children to play on the new playground on Monday, October 6th!
